Dr. Mary Asor Asirifi is an Assistant Professor with a PhD in Nursing who has over 6 months post-doctoral experience working in top Universities in the State of Alberta, Canada including the MacEwan University Edmonton, and the University of Alberta. Mary presently belongs to two (2) professional bodies; College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta and Canadian Nurses Association.
Dr. Asirifi has been awarded 2 scholarships from Queen Elizabeth II and Delta Kappa Gamma Society International.

As an Educationist in the Nursing Sector, Mary has reviewed a number of Journal Manuscripts and also published journals to contribute to same. Some of her works are International Journal of Nursing Education, International Journal of Africa Nursing Science and Journal of Nursing Education and Practice, among others.
Before becoming a tutor in Nursing, Dr. Asirifi practised Nursing at the Kwahu Government Hospital in Ghana, where she worked in the Medical/Surgical Department. She has also collaborated with stakeholders of nursing education in Ghana to assess the challenges of clinical nursing education.
