Data Developer
On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking FOUR Data Developers for 15 month contracts working remotely for our client in Edmonton.

Data Developer Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams and data and systems analysts to understand their data requirements and translate them into scalable and robust data solutions
• Design data models
• Design integration processes to acquire, transform and store investment related data from various sources and have a strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases
• Perform data analysis, data validation and data cleansing to ensure data accuracy and integrity

Data Developer Mandatory Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within an enterprise environment
• 7 years of solid experience developing ETL processes, data engineering, database development and data integration
• 3 years of experience working with big data technologies, including data lakes and data warehouses with knowledge of the underlying architecture
• Minimum of 5 years of experience using Python and SQL programming languages
• Hands on experience in Aure Data lake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks (and DBT – Optional)
• 2 years of experience with agile software development including the use of DevOps tools such as Jira and Asure DevOps ( ADO)
